I remember a couple recent trips up to sheffield with him, Al not in the best of form, but swapping stories, memories of growing up in very different decades, and very different areas. But we had common memories of a simple childhood exploring whatever was out there. Al made the best of everything, nothing wasted. 

Ive known Al for a relatively short time, in the scheme of things anyway. But my memories are always of Al’s positivity, always half full way of viewing things. (Mourinio excepted). We enjoyed chatting, sharing lifes little stories. Reflecting on the great things in his life, Me boring him with Nottingham Forest glory days.. lol.  Al’s story is oh so short, a life ahead that seemed full of opportunity and fun times. An amazing short life, an amazing guy. Miss you mate. Ray x
